With gorgeous views over Curl Curl Beach, it’s no surprise our brief was to completely redesign the interior footprint to orient everything out to the views and establish a modern home exterior façade befitting of its coastal setting.

For this young family, it was important to create a warm approachable family home with layers of sophistication. It needed to feel “posh” but unpretentious.

The family love to entertain but admit to being chefs who like to use every utensil at their disposal! So it was important to make the kitchen the heart of the home, but provide a generous butlers pantry to hide the mess! Striking green Brescia marble was selected as the showpiece of the kitchen – a reminder of the tidal waves swirling around the bay below them.

Our redesign also needed to create kids and parents zones and initiatives to keep sandy feet and family life mess at bay! Cue outdoor showers, side entries, surfboard storage, a new pool and parents only entertaining space!
